Polarizing article on using psychology tricks (amongst other things) to 'jar' the brain into pushing the viewer to look at your photos. Some interesting ideas here but don't conflate attention grabbing with meaningful composition.

I am a huge fan of Christoph Morlinghaus and his precise, monolithic style compositions would likely be considering 'boring' according to this author. But I also consider the Bechers amongst my favorite photographers.

The author is right about one thing though: Stop treating your sensor like a vacuum cleaner trying to suck up every pixel of light. Find one signal and strip away anything that competes with it
